Choosing the right engineering college is one of the most important decisions for students and parents after the TGEAPCET examination. Every year, thousands of students spend hours searching through counselling documents, rank statements, college brochures, and admission websites to understand which colleges and courses are realistically available for their rank.
To make this process easier, we created the Telangana Engineering Colleges Directory at engg.taemeer.com, a searchable platform designed specifically for students, parents, educational counsellors, and admission guidance professionals.
What Information Is Available?
The directory currently includes information for more than 180 engineering colleges and over 1,000 engineering courses across Telangana. Each college and course page is interconnected, allowing users to move easily between colleges, branches, and admission statistics.
The platform also includes TGEAPCET counselling cut-off ranks from all three counselling phases:
- First Phase
- Second Phase
- Final Phase
Search Colleges by Course
Students often know which branch they want to study but are unsure which colleges offer it. The directory allows users to explore courses such as CSE, AIML, AI & DS, IT, ECE, EEE, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and many others.
Each course page displays the colleges offering that branch and provides direct access to detailed rank information.
Search Courses by College
Students who already have a preferred college can quickly explore all available branches offered by that institution. Every college page is connected to its corresponding course pages, making it easy to compare different branches within the same college.
Check Category-Wise Cut-Off Ranks
Admission possibilities often vary significantly across categories. Instead of searching through multiple documents, users can simply select their category from a dropdown list and instantly view the relevant cut-off ranks.
Supported categories include OC, BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D, BC-E, SC, ST, EWS and other counselling categories published in TGEAPCET admission data.
Compare All Three Counselling Phases
A college or branch that appears out of reach during the first phase may become available in later phases. The directory allows users to compare First Phase, Second Phase, and Final Phase closing ranks on a single page, helping students understand admission trends more effectively.
Built from Official Counselling Data
One of the major goals of this project is to transform large volumes of counselling information into a searchable educational database. Instead of manually browsing hundreds of pages of rank statements, students can access relevant information within seconds through a simple interface.
The rank database has been compiled from official counselling publications and organized into a structured system that supports quick searching, filtering, and comparison.
