The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), Hyderabad has issued an important notification for Muslim and Christian minority candidates who have not qualified or not appeared in the TG EAPCET 2026 (M.P.C Stream). Such candidates now have a special opportunity to apply for consideration against leftover seats in minority engineering and pharmacy colleges - after all TGEAPCET 2026-qualified minority candidates are accommodated.
The last date to apply is 24 June 2026 by 5:00 PM. Candidates who miss this deadline will not be considered under this scheme.
Who Is This For?
This notification applies specifically to candidates who satisfy all three of the following conditions:
- They belong to a recognized Muslim or Christian minority community
- They have not appeared or not qualified in TG EAPCET 2026 (MPC Stream)
- They have passed Intermediate or an equivalent qualifying examination with the required minimum marks - 45% in MPC group subjects for OC candidates and 40% for Others
These candidates will be considered only for leftover seats in minority engineering / pharmacy colleges opting for admission through the Convenor (S.W-I), and only after all TGEAPCET 2026-qualified minority candidates have been accommodated.
Important: Candidates admitted under this scheme are not eligible for the Telangana Government's Fee Reimbursement Scheme.
Step-by-Step Procedure to Apply
- Visit the official counselling portal: https://tgeapcet.nic.in
- Click on the link: "Not Qualified / Not Appeared Minority Candidates" on the home page.
- Fill in the application form, pay the processing fee online, and download the completed application form from the website.
- Application filling and processing fee payment window opens: 19 June 2026. Last date for payment of processing fee: 23 June 2026.
- Submit the downloaded application form along with all required original certificates in person to:

Sankethika Vidya Bhavan, Masab Tank, Hyderabad
on or before 24 June 2026 by 5:00 PM. - Applications submitted after 24 June 2026, 5:00 PM will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- Applications with incomplete information or those not satisfying eligibility criteria will be summarily rejected without further notice.
- Ranks for eligible applicants will be generated on 26 June 2026 and communicated to the candidate's registered mobile number.
- After receiving the rank message, book a slot for Certificate Verification scheduled on 28 June 2026 and 29 June 2026 at the available Help Line Centre (HLC) and attend accordingly.

Carry the following original certificates when submitting the application in person at Masab Tank:
- SSC / 10th Class Marks Memo
- Intermediate Marks Memo or its equivalent
- Study Certificates from Class VI to Intermediate
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Minority Certificate (Muslim / Christian)
- Transfer Certificate (T.C)
- Aadhaar Card

What Happens After Certificate Verification?
Candidates who complete certificate verification successfully will be considered for leftover seats in minority engineering and pharmacy colleges during the regular TGEAPCET 2026 counselling process. Seat allotment will follow the standard web option entry and allotment procedure of tgeapcet.nic.in.
