TG EAPCET 2026 Counselling: Official Detailed Notification Released - Complete Schedule, Process & Key Rules

The Commissioner of Technical Education & Convenor, TGEAPCET-2026 Admissions, A. Sridevasena, IAS has released the official detailed notification dated 08-06-2026 for web-based counselling for admission into B.E. / B.Tech / Pharmacy courses for the academic year 2026–27. The official counselling portal is https://tgeapcet.nic.in.

Candidates and parents are advised to read this notification carefully and follow all steps as per the schedule. Exercise as many options as possible to avoid disappointment of not getting a seat.

Eligibility for Admission

  • Candidates must have qualified in TGEAPCET-2026 and secured 45% (for OC) and 40% (for Others) in group subjects of Intermediate or equivalent examination.
  • Candidate shall be an Indian National.
  • Candidates must satisfy local / unreserved status requirements as specified in G.O.Ms.No. 15 Higher Education (TE) Department dated 27-02-2025.
  • 85% of seats are reserved for local candidates of O.U. Area; remaining 15% are unreserved seats.
  • For B.E./B.Tech and Pharmacy courses - candidate must have completed 16 years of age as on 31-12-2026.
  • For Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy) - candidate must have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2026.
  • Maximum eligible age for scholarship: 25 years (OC) and 29 years (Others) as on 01-07-2026.
  • Mere obtaining a rank does not entitle automatic consideration for admission unless all eligibility requirements are fulfilled.

Attention: Minority Candidates (Not Qualified / Not Appeared)

Minority candidates (Muslim / Christian) who have not qualified or not appeared in TGEAPCET-2026 (MPC Stream) but secured the required Intermediate percentage may be considered for leftover seats in respective minority colleges - only after exhausting all qualified minority candidates. However, these candidates are NOT eligible for the Fee Reimbursement Scheme. For procedure, visit https://tgeapcet.nic.in.

Counselling Schedule - All Phases

First Phase

  1. Online filing of Basic Information, Payment of Processing Fee & Slot Booking for selection of Help Line Centre, Date & Time for Certificate Verification - 19-06-2026 to 28-06-2026
  2. Certificate Verification for already Slot Booked candidates - 22-06-2026 to 29-06-2026
  3. Exercising Options after Certificate Verification - 25-06-2026 to 01-07-2026
  4. Freezing of Options - 01-07-2026
  5. Display of Mock Seat Allocation on or before - 04-07-2026
  6. Modification of Options, if required (otherwise options exercised for Mock Allotment shall be considered for First Phase Allotment) - 05-07-2026 to 07-07-2026
  7. Freezing of Options for First Phase Seat Allotment - 07-07-2026
  8. Provisional Allotment of Seats for First Phase on or before - 10-07-2026
  9. Payment of Tuition Fee & Self Reporting through website - 10-07-2026 to 14-07-2026

Second Phase

  1. Online filing of Basic Information, Processing Fee & Slot Booking for candidates not attended in First Phase - 17-07-2026
  2. Certificate Verification for already Slot Booked candidates in Second Phase - 18-07-2026
  3. Exercising Options after Certificate Verification - (It is mandatory to exercise options afresh for Second Phase. First Phase options will not be considered) - 18-07-2026 to 19-07-2026
  4. Freezing of Options - 19-07-2026
  5. Provisional Allotment of Seats on or before - 22-07-2026
  6. Payment of Tuition Fee & Self Reporting through website - 22-07-2026 to 24-07-2026
  7. Physically reporting at the allotted college - 25-07-2026 to 28-07-2026
  8. Last date for cancellation - 28-07-2026
  9. Updating Candidates Joining Details by college - 29-07-2026

Important notes for Second Phase:

  • Physical reporting at the allotted college after Second Phase allotment is mandatory.
  • Handover a set of Xerox copies of certificates and Original Transfer Certificate (T.C) at the allotted college and obtain acknowledgement.
  • Candidates allotted in Second Phase and not reported at the allotted college are not permitted to exercise options in Final Phase.

Final Phase

  1. Online filing of Basic Information, Processing Fee & Slot Booking for candidates not attended in First Phase and Second Phase - 31-07-2026
  2. Certificate Verification for already Slot Booked candidates in Final Phase - 01-08-2026
  3. Exercising Options after Certificate Verification - (It is mandatory to exercise options afresh for Final Phase. Earlier phase options will not be considered) - 01-08-2026 to 02-08-2026
  4. Freezing of Options - 02-08-2026
  5. Provisional Allotment of Seats on or before - 05-08-2026
  6. Payment of Tuition Fee & Self Reporting through website - 05-08-2026 to 07-08-2026
  7. Reporting at the College in case of change of Branch/College - 05-08-2026 to 07-08-2026
  8. Updating Joining Details by College - 08-08-2026

Important notes for Final Phase:

  • Dropouts / Cancellations are not permitted after Final Phase.
  • Commencement of classwork as per AICTE Academic Calendar 2026–27: 01-08-2026.

Centralized Internal Sliding by Convenor

  1. Exercising options for internal sliding (sliding to other branches within the same college) - Fee Reimbursement is applicable to eligible internally slided candidates - 12-08-2026 to 13-08-2026
  2. Freezing of Options - 13-08-2026
  3. Provisional Allotment of Seats on or before - 15-08-2026
  4. Downloading new allotment order (if any), self-report through website and reporting in the new branch within the same college - 16-08-2026 to 17-08-2026

Note: Dropouts/Cancellations after Internal Sliding shall not be filled under Spot Admissions. Such vacancies shall be filled through Lateral Entry into 2nd year via TGECET (Lateral Entry).

Spot Admissions

  1. Spot Admission guidelines for University/constituent Colleges & Private Unaided Engineering Colleges will be published on https://tgeapcet.nic.in on or before 16-08-2026.

Payment of Processing Fee

  • Visit https://tgeapcet.nic.in and click on the link "PAYMENT OF PROCESSING FEE".
  • Register using your TGEAPCET-2026 Registration Number, Date of Birth (as in SSC Marks Memo), and Intermediate Hall Ticket Number.
  • Fill in Aadhaar, Mobile Number, Email ID, Caste Certificate details, Income Certificate, and EWS Application Number (if applicable). Change of mobile number is not permitted.
  • Pay the Processing Fee:
    • Rs. 600/- for SC/ST candidates
    • Rs. 1200/- for Others
  • Payment accepted via Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking.

Slot Booking for Certificate Verification

For complete slot booking instructions and Help Line Centre details, please refer to the official TGCHE notification at https://tgeapcet.nic.in.

Special category candidates (NCC / PHC / CAP / Sports (SG) / Anglo-Indian (ANG)) must book their slot selecting the Help Line Center of Government Polytechnic, Masab Tank, Hyderabad only.

Certificates to Be Produced at Certificate Verification

Schedule for Special Categories (PHC / CAP / NCC / Sports / Anglo-Indian)

Special category candidates must attend certificate verification during the First Phase only at the designated Help Line Center. No Certificate Verification for special categories in Second Phase or Final Phase. For the full schedule with date-wise slot timings, refer to the official TGCHE notification at https://tgeapcet.nic.in.

Procedure for Exercising Options

  • After Certificate Verification, your Login ID will be sent to your registered mobile number. If not received, collect it at the Help Line Centre before leaving. Do not disclose your Login ID to anyone.
  • Keep your mobile with you throughout the entire admission process - all OTPs and allotment details will be sent to the registered number.
  • Download the list of colleges / branches / districts from https://tgeapcet.nic.in.
  • Take a printout of the Manual Option Entry Form from the website. Prepare your option list offline in consultation with parents/friends - write institution code, branch code, and district code. This helps avoid mistakes while entering web options.
  • Options can be exercised from home or any Internet Centre. If using an Internet Centre, ensure proper logout after saving options.
  • Generate your password via the "Candidates Registration" link on the website. Do not share the password with others.
  • Login using the "Candidates Login" link and enter the OTP received on your mobile.
  • Enter options in order of priority - the order of priority is the most important factor in securing your preferred seat.
  • Exercise as many options as possible to avoid disappointment of not getting a seat.
  • Options can be modified any number of times within the scheduled dates.
  • Take a printout of your final saved options for reference.

Mock Seat Allocation

  • Mock Seat Allocation is a trial allotment based on your rank, gender, category, and options exercised - to help you estimate your probable seat allotment.
  • Mock Seat Allocation will be displayed on or before 04-07-2026.
  • After reviewing the mock allotment, candidates can modify their options during 05-07-2026 to 07-07-2026, if required.
  • If no modification is made, options exercised for Mock Allotment will be considered for First Phase Allotment as-is.

First Phase - Allotment of Seats

  • Provisional First Phase allotment will be published on or before 10-07-2026 at https://tgeapcet.nic.in.
  • To download your allotment order, log in using your Login ID, Hall Ticket Number, Password, and Date of Birth.
  • Pay the Tuition Fee mentioned in the allotment order through online (Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking) within the prescribed time, and self-report through the online system to take an Admission Number and confirm the seat. Take a printout.
  • Candidates with zero Tuition Fee on the allotment order must also self-report online and take an Admission Number.
  • All candidates must pay a minimum of Rs. 5,000/- (SC/ST) and Rs. 10,000/- (Others) along with Tuition Fee - this will be returned to those who report at the allotted college after Final Phase. If not reported, the amount will be forfeited.
  • Make Tuition Fee payment from your own bank account. Refunds, if any, will be remitted to the same account.
  • At the time of self-reporting, give an undertaking online that you will relinquish any admission through DOST (Degree Online Services Telangana), if any.
  • If Tuition Fee is not paid within the schedule, the provisionally allotted seat automatically stands cancelled.

Second Phase - Who Can Exercise Options

  • Candidates who secured a seat but are not interested to join
  • Candidates who have not secured a seat so far but got certificates verified
  • Candidates who have not exercised options so far but got certificates verified
  • Candidates who secured a seat, self-reported, and are aspiring for a better option
  • NCC and Sports category candidates whose certificates were verified in First Phase - must exercise options in Second Phase and Final Phase to be considered for NCC/Sports category seats
  • Any other eligible candidates

Important Notes for Second Phase:

  • Options given in First Phase will not be considered - candidates must exercise options afresh in Second Phase.
  • Candidates satisfied with First Phase allotment and who have self-reported need not exercise options again - but must report in person at the allotted college after Final Phase, otherwise allotted seat stands cancelled.
  • If you exercise options now and a seat is allotted, the vacated seat will be allotted to the next meritorious candidate - no claim on previous allotment.

Second Phase - Allotment of Seats

  • Provisional Second Phase allotment will be published on or before 22-07-2026 at https://tgeapcet.nic.in.
  • Download allotment order, pay Tuition Fee online, and self-report through the website. Admission Number will be generated after self-reporting. Take a printout.
  • Make fee payment from own bank account. Refunds will go back to the same account.
  • Candidates satisfied with previous allotment need not exercise options again - but must physically report at the allotted college during 25-07-2026 to 28-07-2026, otherwise allotted seat stands cancelled.
  • Handover Xerox copies of certificates and Original T.C. at the allotted college and obtain acknowledgement.
  • Candidates allotted in Second Phase and not reported at the college are not permitted to exercise options in Final Phase.
  • If Tuition Fee is not paid within the schedule, the seat automatically stands cancelled.

Final Phase - Who Can Exercise Options

Only candidates who have physically reported at the allotted college after Second Phase are eligible for Final Phase. They can exercise options using their existing Login ID and password for leftover seats and consequential vacancies.

  • Candidates who have not secured a seat so far but got certificates verified
  • Candidates who have not exercised options so far but got certificates verified
  • All eligible candidates who have not cancelled their seats through online

Important Notes for Final Phase:

  • Candidates who cancelled seats in First Phase or Second Phase are NOT eligible for Final Phase.
  • Options from First Phase and Second Phase will not be considered - exercise options afresh in Final Phase.
  • If a new seat is allotted in Final Phase, the previous seat is vacated and allotted to the next meritorious candidate - no claim on previous allotment.
  • Candidates satisfied with current allotment need not re-exercise options - but must report at the allotted college after Final Phase, otherwise allotted seat stands cancelled.

Final Phase - Allotment of Seats

  • Provisional Final Phase allotment will be published on or before 05-08-2026 at https://tgeapcet.nic.in.
  • Download allotment order, pay Tuition Fee online, self-report through website, and report at the allotted college. Admission Number will be generated after self-reporting.
  • If allotted a seat in a different college in Final Phase - collect your Original T.C. from the Second Phase college and submit it at the new allotted college.
  • If allotted a different branch in the same college - download new allotment order, pay fee if any, and self-report online for the changed branch.
  • If Tuition Fee is not paid within the schedule, the seat automatically stands cancelled.
  • Physical reporting at the allotted college after Final Phase allotment is mandatory.
  • Dropouts / Cancellations are not permitted after Final Phase allotments.

Internal Sliding

  • All candidates must report at the allotted college after Final Phase. Not reporting by the notified date means the Final Phase allotment order is automatically cancelled.
  • Centralized Internal Sliding - conducted by the Convenor - allows reported candidates to slide to other branches within the same college for leftover vacancies.
  • Option exercising for Internal Sliding: 12-08-2026 to 13-08-2026. Freezing: 13-08-2026. Allotment: on or before 15-08-2026. Reporting in new branch: 16-08-2026 to 17-08-2026.
  • Candidates allotted through Internal Sliding are eligible for Tuition Fee Reimbursement.
  • Dropouts / Cancellations are not permitted after Internal Sliding.
  • Post-Internal Sliding vacancies will be filled through Lateral Entry into 2nd Year via TGECET - not Spot Admissions.

Spot Admissions

Further leftover vacancies after all counselling phases will be handed to colleges for Spot Admissions. TGEAPCET-qualified candidates get first preference; remaining vacancies may be filled by non-qualified candidates.
