How This Ranking Was Prepared
This ranking uses 2025 TGEAPCET Final Phase OC Boys cut-off ranks. For each CIT course, the best available Final Phase closing rank among Telangana engineering colleges was considered. To ensure meaningful comparison, courses offered by fewer than five colleges were excluded from the main ranking.
Key Observations
- Information Technology (INF) remains the strongest and most widely available CIT course. Offered by 36 colleges, it achieved the best Final Phase cut-off rank of 3,809.
- Computer Science and Engineering (Internet of Things) (CSO) has emerged as a niche technology branch with growing interest among students. Despite being offered by only 8 colleges, it recorded a highly competitive cut-off rank of 3,868.
