This ranking uses 2025 TGEAPCET Final Phase OC Boys cut-off ranks. For each AGE course, the best available Final Phase closing rank among Telangana engineering colleges was considered. Since AGE branches are offered by a limited number of institutions statewide, only the most widely available AGE courses were included in the main ranking.
Key Observations
- Chemical Engineering (CHE) emerged as the most competitive AGE course in Telangana, achieving a best Final Phase cut-off rank of 12,282. Although offered by only four colleges, it continues to attract students interested in process industries, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, energy, and manufacturing sectors.
- Mining Engineering (MIN) is offered by six colleges and recorded a best Final Phase cut-off rank of 29,463. The branch remains relevant for students interested in mining operations, mineral resources, geology-related industries, and public-sector opportunities.
- Several AGE branches such as Biotechnology, Food Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Geo Informatics, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Textile Technology, and Dairying are currently offered by only a handful of colleges and therefore do not support meaningful statewide comparison.
